Session 27 - Battle at Eight Ball Bar

Key Points:

• Another round of the combat at the Eight Ball Bar began...
• Kembu straight up killed a dude by cutting his head off.
• Managirl barricaded the door with a table. It bought them some time--many of the henchmens having to waste their turns blowing down the door and the table. However, some of them did get to fire on the party...
• Mei-Xing bound Nacht's hands together with rope.
• Roan blew up a bunch of the dwarves with a grenade before grabbing Nacht's gun and putting it in his own bag.
• Nacht woke up and struggled with his restraints.

• Another round...
• Kembu did some more killing. And then some more killing. He killed three dudes.
• The group started retreating--Del healing the unconscious Manu-Nui.
• Setter gave some cover firing--killing a few of the dwarves in the process and wounding several others.
• Managirl helped Roan start to retreat. She also used the ring from Nerva to summon an illusion of the dragon.
• The dragon would've worked--had the gnome (Felicia) not dissipated it by attacking it.
• Del gave the gnome some trouble though--rooting her to the ground with vines.
• Kembu tried to cover Del and Manu-Nui with a table as they retreated...
• However... the surviving dwarves fired off grenades from their grenade launcher. Del and Kembu were wounded. Manu-Nui was killed.

• With the group's truck destroyed by a grenade from Felicia, the majority of the party escaped out of the back alley. Leaving behind the dead Manu-Nui, the group would eventually load up in a black SUV stolen by Mei-Xing.
• Nacht freed himself from the restraints. Mei-Xing witnessed Nacht killed the surviving dwarves. Felicia was still alive when Mei left, but Nacht didn't look too happy to see her.
• Mei-Xing saw the police arrive on the scene shortly after she left.
• Loading up in the black SUV, the group fled the scene, and took a moment to introduce to each other.
• The group got a strange message from the Watchdog over the car's radio, but decided to ignore it.
• The group ended up ditching the SUV at a strip mall and stealing a clunker car. Using that, they retreated to a budget motel to take an extended rest...
