Session 47 - Preparations for War

• The group, after discussing their next course of action and sharing some information, decided to take an extended rest so that they would be at full strength during their assault on the Dwarven Cartel.
• The group engaged in various activities during the extended rest...
• Setter kept to himself, busying himself with phone calls and his voice mails.
• Roan and Kembu had a conversation with each other.
• Afterwards, Aria and Kembu talked. Aria also played around with her dad's spy car.
• Managirl and Angel spent some time with each other in the hedge maze.
• Del spent sometime learning about the fauna at the greenhouse.

• In the morning, the group found that while Kyou and Jessica were both dazed and sore, both of them would be okay with some additional recovery. Unfortunately, neither of them had any real information on what occurred with the attempted kidnapping. The group decided that the two of them would rest at the safe house for the day while the rest of them pursued their assault on the Dwarven Cartel.
• Angel prepared the group by issuing each of them injections that would allow them to 'pool' their health together and allow her to monitor their conditions.
• Aria decided that she would be driving the group today (in Nacht's humvee). The group drove to the foreign district whereupon they located the address for the apartment complex.
• The group observed that they were being watched by the locals who likely reported back to the cartel.
• At the apartment complex that doubled as a hideout for the cartel, the group attempted to find the best way to infiltrate it. 

• Ultimately, the group decided to try to sneak in by utilizing Jergo's blinking abilities to get them past the chainlink fence surrounding the compound.
• Del used her druidic abilities to speak to the tree and learn that the dwarves had hidden land mines above ground, that the compound went deep and deep underground, and that the group could find the prisoners by going into the main building of the complex.
• The group ended up deciding to head for the main building once in the courtyard of the complex.
• Roan went to the roof to get higher ground, but discovered that numerous dwarves were poised and ready to ambush.
