Session 48 - Dogs + Mines = Bad.

Key Points:

• The session started off with the group approaching the main building of the Dwarven Cartel's base from a courtyard.
• Roan started off the session with a bang...
• After discovering shooters on the rooftops, Roan decided to get the jump on them before they could fire on the moving Kembu. Roan threw a grenade at a group on the rooftop.
• Kembu ran forward and leapt onto the roof near some dwarves.
• The majority of the dwarves that were not blown up fired upon Aria who was out in the open. They managed to take her down in a hail of gunfire.

• The first round broke out then...
• Angel healed Aria; getting the assassin back on her feet. Angel then remained in cover for the time being.
• Kembu sliced a dwarf in half, then wounded another one.
• Aria healed herself with a healing pill, then scrambled away to find some cover.
• Managirl threw down some explosive magic, wounding a dwarf.
• Roan threw another grenade; causing some widespread damage.
• Del used her grasping tides to wound a dwarf.
• Setter fires on one of the dwarves with his assault rifle; killing the dwarf. He then ducked behind cover near Angel.
• Various dwarves find themselves firing upon the group; some party members getting wounded (Managirl in particular), others just getting missed.

• Second round!
• A pack of dogs came running out from the compound to engage the group...
• Angel kills a dwarf with her shoutgun; blowing away one of them who had been trying to climb down a fire escape.
• Setter decided to use some shrapnel rounds to thin out the incoming dog packs.
• Kembu cleaved another dwarf in two.
• Aria went from the ground to climbing up the rooftop.
• Managirl brought the fury and the lightning; killing two more dwarves. She then followed through with some explosive magic.
• Roan sniped one of the dwarves; a quick death.
• The dogs ran into the mines planted in the ground; blowing up several members and nearly killing them.
• Del and Kiki managed to tag team some of the dogs; putting them down.
• Several dwarfs fire upon Kembu while others try to regroup.

• Third round!
• Angel fired on one of the bigger dogs to get it off Del, then healed the druid.
• Setter took a moment to reload, then tried to get one of the dogs off. The dog unfortunately didn't understand Setter's commands (or did not care for them).
• Aria got in on the action by throwing poisoned shurikens at dogs.
• Managirl used her magic to blow up some more dwarves!
• Kembu took a moment to catch his second wind...
• A large group of dwarven thugs and hitmen emerged from the main building being lead by one of their leaders: Diego Bronzeknuckle. The thugs fired upon the group alongside the hitmen while Bronzeknuckle went in and engaged Del; a mine exploding in the process and wounding multiple people.
• Roan disables one of the dwarves with a well placed shot.
• Del used her grasping tides to sweep some dwarves away.

• Fourth round!
• Angel decides to paint the leader as a target: blasting Diego with her shotgun.
• Setter attempted to jog Diego's brain of what he had done to Setter, but Diego wasn't getting it... that didn't stop Diego from suffering from a psychic spell assault from Setter.
• Kembu joined the fray on the ground, trying to help Del, but his sword strike missed.
• Aria finishes one of the dwarfs off on the rooftop with her chain and kama. She then pulled out her shortsword, leapt off the roof, and landed on top of Diego's back while driving her sword into him. The critical strike wounded Diego severely, and he now had a monkey on his back.
• Managirl blew up a whole heck of a lot of people with her magic.
• Del's grasping tides seem to fail to sweep anyone away.
• Roan helps out the group by firing on Diego; stunning him.
• The dogs look to tear and bite into anyone they can sink their teeth into. In the mean time, any remaining dwarves continue to fire upon the group.

• And the rest of the fray ended shortly thereafter... Aria scored the killing blow on Diego with a shuriken to his eye after leaping off of his back. Several of the dwarven hitmen who were wounded managed to retreat inside the building while several gang members were left outside and forced to surrender to the group. The rest of the enemies (dogs mostly) were killed by the group...
